Paragraph 1 of Canon 603  states &quot;the Church recognizes the eremitic or anchoritic life&quot; and then in paragraph 2 of the same canon it states &quot;A hermit is recognized...&quot; One reason for my preference is the rich spiritual meaning the word holds for me. Is there any reason why Iought not to use the identifying term &quot;anchoress&quot;. God willing, Final Eremitic Consecration will be before the year&#039;s end. I was blessed with First Eremitic Consecration 3 years ago. Thank you.</description>
